A
key part of our evaluation work has been to build the
capacity of organizations to carry out their evaluation
programs. This takes many forms, including one-on-one coaching with
nonprofit agencies, development of real-world evaluation manuals on
evaluation topics, and consultation and advising. The
content spans a full range of evaluation issues. We frequently
support complete development of evaluation planning,
logic model and theory of change design, data collection tool development,
data management, data analysis and interpretation, and using data for
program improvement, marketing and strategic planning
purposes. We also provide specialized assistance in current issues in
evaluation, such as measuring system change, measuring policy and advocacy
work, second generation evaluation design, measuring community development,
and aligning evaluation with performance measurement systems.
