tradition of providing workshops and training opportunities
to support the development of evaluation knowledge and skills. We have
offered many series of standardized workshop topics, including introduction
to Outcome-based evaluation, techniques in data collection
and data analysis, and using evaluation in program management and planning.
We also customize workshops to the specific needs of
organizations, using their organizational framework, language systems,
program areas and needs around accountability and organizational development. ORS
has ventured into real-time web based trainings to reach
geographically diverse participants.
ORS is the parent company of The
Evaluation Forum, a
nationally recognized provider of workshops and publications
in the field of Outcome-based evaluation. Through The
Evaluation Forum, ORS has authored a number of publications
including “A Field Guide
to Outcome-based Program Evaluation,” “Outcomes for Success!” and “How
to Manage and Analyze Data for Outcome-based Evaluation.”
